The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't use LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic vacuum and mop robot schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the push of a button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's not the best time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features an advanced filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice premise, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is superior - its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away if it comes across one.

The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash into the bin hidden from view, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature if you have multiple areas of the home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it to.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of around 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The control panel has a circular menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also lets the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.
