You can alter the shelves in both compartments for a custom storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's design for the interior is attractive, too. The LED lighting adds an appealing feature. The storage bins in the door have a third shelf which can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls, so you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their textured plastic coatings to be a bit hard on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes the all the features you'd expect from a fridge at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app, available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in world, and it has many options for customizing. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter requires a change.

It is nice if the GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a handful of other GE fridges that allows you to choose how many cups of water you'd like to disperse simultaneously. It also has an indicator on the display of the fridge to show how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.
